Need help for my job
Message from zorobabel posted on 19-08-2010 at 03:25:28 (D | E | F)
Hello,
I'm working on a merry-go-round, and sometimes have to deal with Australians.
So Imade wrote a little conversation with the most questions and answers I encounter.
Could you please help me and correct me. (I live in New Caledonia, that's why we still have francs)
CUSTOMER: hello, how much is a ticket?
Me :
1 ticket is 250 francs, and for 1000 francs you have 5 tickets instead of four
CUSTOMER:
but I'm not interested in the fifth ticket.
ME: Keep the fifth one in your wallet.
C:
My child is very little, can i stay with him ?
ME:
Of course you can. THere are several seats( or mounts ?) where you can sit on: the truck, the motorcycle, the spinning seat or you can sit next to your child wherever you want.
It's better to avoid the mechanical rocking mickey mouse and horse because it may be too brutal for your child's head.
C:
No, the mickey mouse will be just fine.
ME:
THen you'd better grab your children's back firmly.
That's all.
Thank you.
Rachel.

Hello!
I'm not an aussie, but here's what I would suggest:
CUSTOMER: hello, how much is a ticket?
Me :
1 ticket is 250 francs, and for 1000 francs you have (get) 5 tickets instead of four (or 1 ticket is 250 francs, or 5 tickets for 1000 francs)
CUSTOMER:
but I'm not interested in the fifth ticket.
ME: Keep the fifth one in your wallet.
C:
My child is very little, can i stay (ride) with him?
ME:
Of course you can. There are several seats( or mounts ?) where you can sit on: the truck, the motorcycle, the spinning seat or you can sit next to your child wherever you want.
It's better to avoid the mechanical rocking mickey mouse and horse because it may be too brutal (jarring) for your child's head.
C:
No, the mickey mouse will be just fine.
ME:
Then you'd better grab (hold on to) your children's (child's) back firmly and securely.

Hello!
I missed one correction:
There are several seats (or mounts) where you can sit
Either the word "seats" or "mounts" is fine.
Cordialement
