Art / Bac oral
Message de cacoa45 posté le 22-05-2013 à 18:08:29
Bonjour,

pouvez-vous me corriger s'il vous plaît?
Merci pour vos réponses.

The notion I’m going to deal with is the space and form of power. To start with, I’d like to give a definition of it. The idea of power involves a basic division between those who wield and exercise power and those who do not. Indeed, power was created to dominate people. Even when authority seems absolute, there are always counter-powers which question it, aim at limiting its excesses and resist it.I would like to illustrate this notion through the theme of art.
Our society today is inevitably influenced by the arts: painting, prints, photography, movies, television, and literature.
We may answer the question : How can art contribute to fitghting injustice ?
Artists have used their medium as a way to influence people's opinions through history. So, the aim of the artist is to convey the facts of an issue and influence people's opinions.
First at all, Artists use their song to convey a message
Songs were an important part of the Vietnam war protest in the 1960s.
In the early 1960s, the folk-song movement was already well-established with artists like Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. They led early anti-war protests. Many folk singers were closely connected with the civil rights movement in Southern cities like Selma.Songs like "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" by Bob Dylan and "Birmingham Sunday" by Joan Baez emphasised the losses in the civil rights struggle. His lyrics came right out of the song with a really deep message for the audience to think about. And the most famous song was "how many years can a people exist before they're allowed to be free."
There are movies who contribute to fighting injustice.
In class we studied Arthur Miller's the crucible. it was nighteeen fifty when Miller wrote the play "the Crucible" as an allegory of McCarthyism. He made this play about the witchhunt which was centuries ago. The U.S. government blacklisted accused communists and Arthur Miller was accused. So he shows how people can use the witch hunt in order to get even with their enemies, to earn their life and how they sacrify the justice to protect their power. Comunism was a pain.
Bowling for Columbine, a film producted by Michael More is another example of a movie influencing society. In the movie Moore tries to explore the reasons and causes for the Columbine High School massacre, other acts of gun violence, and why the United States has higher rates of violent crimes than other developed nation in the world.
Indeed, according to the movie of Micheal Moore “bowling for columbine” the US nation built itself around the notion of fear. In this(article défini) cartoon at the beginning, he shows that throughout their history, American people have fought many different supposed enemies and imposed their power on them
To conclude, Art contribute to fighting injustice directy or indirectly, by using diferents ways of expresion.

Bonjour,
Je l'ai corrigé

The notion I’m going to deal with is the notion of space and form of power. To start with, I’d like to give a definition of it. The idea of power involves a basic division between those who wield and exercise power and those who do not. Indeed, power was created to dominate people. We may answer the question : How can art contribute to fitghting(orthographe) injustice ?
Artists have used their medium as a way to influence people's opinions throughout history.
His(who's?) lyrics leapt out of the song with a really deep message for the audience to think about. And the(possessif) most famous line was "how many years can a(regarde les paroles) people exist before they're allowed to be free."
There are movies who(pas les personnes) contribute to fighting injustice.
In class we studied Arthur Miller's "the crucible". it was nighteeen fifty when Miller wrote the play "the Crucible" as an allegory of McCarthyism. He made this play about the witchhunt which was centuries ago. The U.S. government blacklisted accused communists, which included Arthur Miller was accused. So he shows how people can use the witch hunt(pluriel) in order to get even with their enemies, to earn their life(j'ai mal de le comprendre) and how these people would sacrifice justice to protect their power.
"Bowling for Columbine", a film producted by Michael More is another example of a movie influencing society. In the movie Moore tries to explore the reasons and causes for the Columbine High School massacre, other acts of gun violence, and why the United States has higher rates of violent crimes than other developed nation(pluriel) in the world. Indeed, according to the movie of Micheal Moore “bowling for columbine” the US nation built itself around the notion of fear. In this cartoon at the beginning, he shows that throughout their history, American people have fought many different supposed enemies and imposed their power on them à moins que vous soyez "mrlama", il vous faut de ne pas copier les oeuvres des autres
To conclude, Art contribute(3ème personne singulier) to fighting injustice directy or indirectly, by using diferents(singulier/orthographe) ways of expresion(orthographe).
