Spotted two things,

At the foot of the ravine was a beautiful stream, at which, choked with dust and perspiration, we stopped drinking(le contexte dit qu'il se sont arrêtés pour boire, ta traduction dit qu'ils ont arrêté de boire)

Taylor sat perfectly still, waiting missing preposition them to resume their melodic song
