Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
J'ai une présentation orale à faire sur la mémoire en anglais. Est ce que vous pouvez corriger mes fautes si il y en a s'il vous plaît?
Subject: How does our memory work?
At Semester 4, I choose to present you an interessant subject: the memorize. It is an important for our daily life.
To fully understand this subject, I go ask me 2 questions.
What is the process of brain when the memorize is activated?
What is the best way to improve your memory skills?
I go to a global approach of the memorize without necesserily going into details.
Firstly, the process goes through attention, that is learning information. It depends of concentration, motivation and emotional values of information. For example, we will remember the wedding ceremony better than the number of guests there had.
Secondly, the information must be stocked in the brain thanks to at encoding. The encoding consists to create a network of neurons connected to each other and which are specific to memory.
Thirstly, it is the stage of the consolidation, the network of neurons will be reactivated several times when we sleep for example. The brain take the information durably in our memory.
And the last stage is the recuperation. We must bring out good information. This stage is the culmination of the memeory process in our brain.
Now,let's more at the second part which is the improvement of the memory. The best way to improve your memory is to keep remembering the same thing over and over again. This strengthens the neural pathway to the memeory. There are other things you can do to improve your memory:like eat a balanced diet and to do sport often.
Finally, to conclude the memory is benefial an an important asset in my daily life. I have a good memory. It's thanks to that I remember both bad things and good things. For example, I reach much better at learning vocabulary in English than to do comprehensing text.
Bonne soirée.
Cordialement.
