Bonjour,

J'ai essayé de répondre à une question qu'un de mes correspondants m'a posée. J'aurai besoin d'avis pour savoir si c'est correct au niveau syntaxique et grammaire. Merci d'avance

When I was younger, I was doing the football and the basket in the club. Now I don't play sport in club, but I sometimes ride a bike, a hike and even to play sport with my friends. Concerning the reading, I currently read a crime novel of Mary Higgins Clark. And you ? Do you play a sport ? And do you read at the moment ?

Bonjour,
When I was younger, I was doing (preterit simple) the (pas de the pour dire jouer à un sport) football (on dit jouer au football pas faire du football) and the (même remarque)basket in the club. Now I don't play sport in club, but I sometimes ride a bike, a hike and even to (to?) play sport with my friends. Concerning the (pas de the) reading, I currently read a crime novel of (pas la bonne préposition, chercher "par")Mary Higgins Clark. And you ? Do you play a (pas de a) sport ? And do you read at the moment (pas le bon présent)?
