je dois passer mon oral d'anglais dans une semaine. Pourriez-vous corriger mes fautessvp s'il vous plaît?

I’m going to talk about the idea of progress. Public opinion often tends to believe that progress is just an improvement, innovation technology. But what is the true definition of progress? The progress can be defined as an improvement a development - a technical, scientific or social advance Which Contributes to making the world a better place.
What effect does this progress have on our society? Should we fear progress?
We don’t need to be afraid of progress because Progress facilitates the daily lives of consumers.
Medical level, progress can save many lives and diseases
Technological level, the internet, social media, mobile phones simplifies communication
People can communicate more easily with foreign countries or the car can facilitates mobility.
Social level, progress in the quality of life Education, employment, equality, family life for example women’s rights, human rights.
But the progress have too disadvantages
Some technologies like the telephone or computer send waves which causes health problems
The nuclear site created nuclear waste that is active more than 100 000 years. These nuclear wastes have a harmful effect on our health or social network, some consider it to be progress enabling families and friends to stay in contact, share news and photos but some remain lifeless on these networks I sometimes see friends who invite and discuss on the social network. or Television, even if it is indispensable nowadays, small man in his leisure.
In conclusion I think it is important to discuss what are the advantages and disadvantages of this progress. Progress is probably everywhere around us and it allowed to change the mentalities and the habits all around the world, by the economy, technologies... But it also implies worse sides by creating new dangers like nuclear bombs. So to my mind, progress generally helps us to live better but we have to be careful with it.
